A random laser as a dynamical network
New Journal of Physics, 2014 The mode dynamics of a random laser is investigated in experiment and theory. The laser consists of a ZnCdO/ZnO multiple quantum well with air-holes that provide the necessary feedback.

Advanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 24, 27 April 2026.We introduce a novel, ion‐targeted strategy to enhance calcium permeation in voltage gated calcium channels. By directly driving the ions’ coherent collective motion via resonant coupling with a 1.65 THz field, we lower the inter‐site energy barrier, inducing a statistically significant enhancement of ion influx.

Migration Ecology and Protection of Stopover Sites of the Whimbrels Along China's Coastal
Ecology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2025.Our analysis reveals two critical findings: (1) 73.1% of identified stopover sites occur within existing protected areas, demonstrating significant conservation coverage; yet (2) substantial protection gaps persist, particularly in inland regions of Inner Mongolia and Northeast China where 42.9% of key sites lack formal protection.

Two New Species of Ochotona (Mammalia, Lagomorpha) From Xizang, China
Ecology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2025.During small mammals faunal surveys in Xizang conducted in 2003, 2023, and 2024, we collected two unidentifiable taxa of Ochotona. Phylogenetic analyses based on both mitochondrial and nuclear gene sequences resolve these specimens as distinct clusters within the O. macrotis and O. forresti species groups.
