Dold sequences, periodic points, and dynamics

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 53, Issue 5, Page 1263-1298, October 2021., 2021
Abstract In this survey we describe how the so‐called Dold congruence arises in topology, and how it relates to periodic point counting in dynamical systems.

On Fixed Point Property under Lipschitz and Uniform Embeddings

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
We first present a generalization of ω⁎‐Gâteaux differentiability theorems of Lipschitz mappings from open sets to those closed convex sets admitting nonsupport points and then show that every nonempty bounded closed convex subset of a Banach space has the fixed point property for isometries if it Lipschitz embeds into a super reflexive space. With the

Iterative approximation of a solution of a general variational‐like inclusion in Banach spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 22, Page 1159-1168, 2004., 2004
We introduce a class of η‐accretive mappings in a real Banach space and show that the η‐proximal point mapping for η‐m‐accretive mapping is Lipschitz continuous. Further, we develop an iterative algorithm for a class of general variational‐like inclusions involving η‐accretive mappings in real Banach space, and discuss its convergence criteria.

Ishikawa iterative sequence with errors for strongly pseudocontractive operators in arbitrary Banach spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 33, Page 1771-1775, 2004., 2004
The Ishikawa iterative sequences with errors are studied for Lipschitzian strongly pseudocontractive operators in arbitrary real Banach spaces; some well‐known results of Chidume (1998) and Zeng (2001) are generalized.

A New Approach of Graphical Presentation in C∗‐Algebra‐Valued b‐Metric Spaces With an Application

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this paper, we introduced the new concept of a graphical presentation approach in C∗‐algebra‐valued b‐metric space (C∗AVbM‐space). We studied some new modified contraction conditions for single‐valued mappings in C∗AVbM‐spaces and proved the uniqueness of fixed point (FP) results in the said space with nontrivial illustrative examples.

The concept of cone b-Banach space and fixed point theorems

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2021
In this article, the concepts of cone b-norm and cone b-Banach space are given. Some new fixed point theorems in cone b-Banach spaces are established. The new results improve some fixed point theorems in cone Banach spaces.

On some properties of Banach operators. II

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 47, Page 2513-2515, 2004., 2004
Using the notion of a Banach operator, wehave obtained a decompositional property of aHilbert space, and the equality of two invertible boundedlinear multiplicative operators on a normed algebra with identity.

Relation‐Theoretic Contraction via a Triplet of Auxiliary Functions and an Application to Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this manuscript, we establish some results on fixed points by using a triplet of auxiliary functions endowed with a locally J‐transitive binary relation. We also present an example to illustrate the suitability of our results and discuss some applications to first and second order ordinary differential equations with periodic boundary value problems,

Convergence theorems for uniformly quasi‐Lipschitzian mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 15, Page 763-775, 2004., 2004
We prove some convergence theorems of the modified Ishikawa iterative sequence with errors for uniformly quasi‐Lipschitzian mappings in metric spaces. Our results generalize and improve the corresponding results of Petryshyn and Williamson, Ghosh and Debnath, Liu, and many others.
