Nonincreasing Solutions for Quadratic Integral Equations of Convolution Type
We study a nonlinear quadratic integral equation of Convolution type in the Banach space of real functions defined and continuous on a bounded and closed interval.

Commutators in real interpolation with quasi‐power parameters
The basic higher order commutator theorem is formulated for the real interpolation methods associated with the quasi‐power parameters, that is, the function spaces on which Hardy inequalities are valid. This theorem unifies and extends various results given by Cwikel, Jawerth, Milman, Rochberg, and others, and incorporates some results of Kalton to the

Uniformly continuous composition operators in the space of bounded Φ-variation functions in the Schramm sense [PDF]
We prove that any uniformly continuous Nemytskii composition operator in the space of functions of bounded generalized \(\Phi\)-variation in the Schramm sense is affine. A composition operator is locally defined.

Periodic solutions of systems with asymptotically even nonlinearities
New conditions of solvability based on a general theorem on the calculation of the index at infinity for vector fields that have degenerate principal linear part as well as degenerate “next order” terms are obtained for the 2π‐periodic problem for the scalar equation x″ + n2x = g(|x|) + f(t, x) + b(t) with bounded g(u) and f(t, x) → 0 as |x| → 0.

Some properties of Urysohn‐Stieltjes integral operators
We investigate some properties of Urysohn‐Stieltjes integral operators. The assumptions will be formulated under which the operators in question transform the space of coatinuous functions into itself or in the space of functions of bounded variation, are continuous or are compact.

Nonexistence of positive solutions of nonlinear boundary value problems [PDF]
We discuss the nonexistence of positive solutions for nonlinear boundary value problems. In particular, we discuss necessary restrictions on parameters in nonlocal problems in order that (strictly) positive solutions exist.

ON THE WEAK SOLUTIONS OF THE URYSOHN-STIELTJES FUNCTIONAL INTEGRAL EQUATIONS
The analysis of Urysohn-Stieltjes integral operators has been studied in [1]. Here we study the existence of weakly solution of functional integral equations of Urysohn-Stieltjes type and Hammerstien-Stieltjes type in the reflexive Banach space E.

Differential inequalities for hysteresis systems
The theory of differential inequalities is extended to functional‐differential equations with hysteresis nonlinearities. A key feature is the existence of a semiorder of the state space of nonlinearity and a special monotonicity of the righthand side of differential inequality. This article is dedicated to the memory of Roland L. Dobrushin.

We investigate the Nemytskij (composition, superposition) operators acting between Banach spaces of -times differentiable functions defined on the closed intervals of the real line with the -derivatives satisfying a generalized Hölder condition. The main

On the composition of functions in multidimensional Besov spaces
For the composition operator Tf : g → f ◦ g we find a class of functions f : R → R for which there exists a family of positive constants c( f ,t) , t > 0 , such that the estimate ‖Tf (g)‖Bsp,q(Rn) c( f ,t)‖g‖Bsp,q (Rn) holds, for all g ∈W 1 ∞ ∩Bp,q(R ...
