CAP on mobility control for 4G LTE networks

Proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Hot Topics in Wireless, 2016
The CAP theorem [1] exposes the fundamental tradeoffs among three key properties of strong consistency, availability and partition tolerance in distributed networked systems. In this position paper, we take the CAP perspective on 4G mobility control. We view the control-plane management for mobility support as a distributed signaling system.

LTE/4G Smart Eyewear Antennas

2019 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium - China (ACES), 2019
This paper presents a dual antenna structure for LTE/4G smart eyewear. Two 4G loop antennas are printed on the side of the eyewear frame, each with a 2 mm breakpoint at the bottom boundary of the loop. The leg of the eyewear consists of a metal plane perpendicular to the frame. It also acts as the metal ground plane of the loop antenna.
