2019 International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium - China (ACES), 2019
This paper presents a dual antenna structure for LTE/4G smart eyewear. Two 4G loop antennas are printed on the side of the eyewear frame, each with a 2 mm breakpoint at the bottom boundary of the loop. The leg of the eyewear consists of a metal plane perpendicular to the frame. It also acts as the metal ground plane of the loop antenna.

4G LTE Fundamental Air Interface Design
2021Before we start our investigation of NR, we will first give a detailed review of LTE. The focus will be on the basic aspects of LTE that NR builds upon. This will serve as a solid foundation for us to understand the 5G NR air interface. Those readers that are professionals in LTE may choose to skip this chapter and move directly to the NR air interface.
