Ultralight Soft Wearable Haptic Interface with Shear‐Normal‐Vibration Feedback

Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study proposes soft wearable haptic interface using pneumatic actuators and origami pumps. This interface can generate multiple sensations such as touching, slipping, and vibrating. To show performance and wearability of this interface, virtual reality is connected with the interface, and user tests are conducted.

Abstract Premise In flowering plants, pollinators' ability to recognize chemical displays of hybrids may erode reproductive barriers. Hybrids may produce novel or altered floral scent blends that are unattractive, or scents similar to either parent that remain attractive and promote backcrossing.

Abstract Using youth mentors to deliver evidence‐based psychosocial services has been proposed to increase the reach of treatments, in part given the affordability and ubiquity of mentors in youth settings. Further, tests of mentor‐delivered motivational interviewing (MI) have shown increases in youth mentees' academic performance and wellbeing.
