Uncertain multi‐objective programming approach for planning supplementary irrigation areas in rainfed agricultural regions

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
Abstract Rainfed agriculture is crucial for ensuring global food and water security, and supplementary irrigation is an effective means of improving the economic benefits in rainfed agricultural regions. This study proposes a novel uncertain optimization approach to optimize supplementary irrigation areas in rainfed agricultural regions.

Fingerprinting of Semi‐Refined Flaxseed Protein Using Raman Spectroscopy and Multivariate Analysis: Pulsed Electric Field (PEF)‐Assisted Alkali and Aqueous Extraction Methods Alter Composition and Protein Conformation

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
Structural changes in semi‐refined flaxseed protein extracts were effectively characterized using Raman spectroscopy coupled with PCA. The application of higher PEF energy enhanced hydrophobic interactions among aliphatic amino acids, while at lower PEF inputs, the extraction medium dictated secondary structure formation: α‐helices favored in aqueous ...

Multi‐center benchmarking of cervical spinal cord RF coils for 7 T MRI: A traveling spines study

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose The depth within the body, small diameter, long length, and varying tissue surrounding the spinal cord impose specific considerations when designing RF coils. The optimal coil configuration for 7 T cervical spinal cord MRI is unknown and currently there are very few coil options.

Au(III) Extraction from Water Samples Using Triazole‐Coated Novel Magnetic Adsorbents and Analysis by Inductively Coupled Plasma‐Optical Emission Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemistryOpen, EarlyView.
The synthesized magnetic nanoparticles, designated as Fe3O4@SiO2@CPTES@DAT, demonstrate effective recovery of Au(III) ions under optimized conditions at a pH of 2, utilizing 10 mg of the adsorbent, with an interaction time of 20 min. This finely tuned methodology is successfully employed to analyze various water samples regarding the recovery of Au(III)

Hybrid Density Functional Theory Study on the Formation Energies of Donor and Acceptor N Impurities in β‐Ga2O3

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), EarlyView.
In this article, using density‐functional theory, formation energy findings provide valuable insights into the behavior of nitrogen as either a substitutional or interstitial defect, as well as its potential to form N2‐like complexes within the β‐Ga2O3 matrix.
