Harnessing plant‐based platform for low‐cost cellulosic sugar recovery from bioenergy crops
Abstract The price of pure cellulase enzyme for the recovery of fermentable cellulosic sugars is one of the major challenges that limit the commercialization of second‐generation biofuels and bio‐based products. This work shows a means to greatly reduce the cost of cellulases. The abundant capacity of plants to synthesize and hyperaccumulate transgenic

CFD analysis of a diesel–CH4–H2 tri‐fuel engine shows that increasing hydrogen energy share (HES) enhances mixing and accelerates combustion, improving pressure, efficiency, and reducing CO and soot. At 60% HES, ISFC improves 26.2%, soot drops 95%, while NOx increases due to higher temperatures. ABSTRACT The global commitment to achieve net‐zero carbon

Abstract Aminoglycosides require therapeutic drug monitoring due to substantial pharmacokinetic variability across individuals. While population pharmacokinetic (popPK) models have been developed for individual drugs across age groups, and cross‐drug maturation models have been explored, it is unclear whether pooling data across aminoglycosides ...

Optimization of Venting Units to Minimize the Dimensions of Explosive Zones
ABSTRACT This contribution investigates how changes of standardized venting geometries affect the EX zone extension. CFD simulations are used to explore different venting unit geometries in order to reduce the experimental effort. The optimization of the venting unit geometries is analyzed separately from the dispersion of the hydrogen–air mixture into
