Visualization of Hemispherical Post‐Detonation Fireball Internal Structures
ABSTRACT Hemispherical charges are initiated above a transparent plate in a half‐plane configuration, allowing optical access to the internal regions of the luminous fireball. High‐speed visualization enables characterization of the internal luminous structure, showing clearly the bright shell and dark core regions.

ABSTRACT Rationale Ions trapped within a Penning cell (ICR) travel periodic orbits whose frequencies are dependent on their mass‐to‐charge ratio and the value of the magnetic field passing through the trap. Fourier transformation (FT‐ICR) decomposes the signal induced in the detection circuit by the rotation of the ions in the cell after the ...

Safety Considerations in Deployment of Robotic Systems – A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT An in‐depth understanding of the risks related to robotic systems is crucial to guarantee safety throughout all stages of robot design and operations. This required a thorough risk assessment following international standards. This study presents a systematic review of previous research on safety considerations in the design of robotic systems,

High Ionic Conduction in Rb‐ and Cs‐Mixed Cation Amide for Energy Storage
A mixed cation‐amide solid solution, Rb0.5Cs0.5NH2, based on the interaction between RbNH2‐ and CsNH2, has been developed. The Rb⁺/Cs⁺ cationic substitution leads to structural stabilization, resulting in high ionic conductivity in the Rb0.5Cs0.5NH2 compared to the single compounds.

Probing Viscoelasticity of Polymeric Coatings Using Nonlinear Dynamic Atomic Force Microscopy
For soft materials it is essential to characterize both the elastic and viscous material properties. Using an atomic force microscope, the hardening nonlinearity induced by a tip‐sample contact and bifurcation points can be used to separately estimate the visco‐ and elastic parts of the tip‐sample interaction force.

Abstract The substitution of natural aggregates in concrete with recycled aggregates from construction waste makes ecological sense, is politically desired, and is increasingly being incorporated into technical regulations. Recycled concrete (RC) aggregates are also increasingly used for steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) in the future. However, it

RC beam‐column element for simulating nonlinear shear‐flexural behavior
Abstract This paper presents a precise and straightforward solution for simulating the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beam‐column elements subjected to bending and shearing forces. The solution is compatible with the fiber element formulation used within object‐oriented software frameworks like OpenSees.

A simple approximative approach is presented to model ultra small‐angle neutron scattering and ultra small‐angle X‐ray scattering data when coherent multiple scattering is present. The underlying principles, exact solutions – similar to Mie scattering – and approximations are presented. We start from an analytical formulation for the coherent multiple ...
