A series of ultraviolet‐ and near‐infrared radiation sensitive photoactivatable hydrogels are developed that can be controlled spatiotemporally down to µm precisions using one‐ and two‐photon uncaging. The latent hydroxylamine‐, hydrazine‐, and amine uncaged moieties are used to photopattern a series of diverse proteins displaying complimentary ...

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.

Gluon polarization measurements from longitudinally polarized proton-proton collisions at STAR [PDF]
Jets produced in the pseudo-rapidity range, $-1.0 < \eta < 1.0$, from $pp$ collisions at RHIC kinematics are dominated by quark-gluon and gluon-gluon scattering processes. Therefore the longitudinal double spin asymmetry $A_{LL}$ for jets is an effective channel to explore the longitudinal gluon polarization in the proton.

Response to Comment [arXiv:1407.6854] on Palmer et al., Nature, 510, 385, 2014 [PDF]
We respond to a Comment [arXiv:1407.6854 (2014)] on our recent Nature paper [Nature, 510, 385 (2014)]. We categorically disprove the arguments provided in arXiv:1407.6854 (2014) and thereby further substantiate the evidence we presented in our recent study, demonstrating the existence of a metastable liquid-liquid transition in a molecular model of ...

Phytase activity inCryptococcus laurentiiABO 510 [PDF]
Ten Cryptococcus strains were screened for phytase activity, of which the Cryptococcus laurentii ABO 510 strain showed the highest level of activity. The cell wall-associated enzyme displayed temperature and pH optima of 62 degrees C and 5.0, respectively.
