Multienzyme (3‐in‐1)‐Mimicking a Single Nucleobase‐Derived Bionanozyme for Versatile Environmental and Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports the development of bioinspired 2D crystalline Bionanozyme derived from a single nucleobase. It effectively mimics multienzyme activity to detect and remove phenolic pollutants, identify disease biomarkers with high sensitivity, and protect cells from oxidative stress.

Recent STAR Jet Results of the High-Energy Spin Physics Program at RHIC

open access: yes, 2017
The production of jets from polarized proton+proton collisions at STAR is dominated by quark-gluon and gluon-gluon scattering. The dijet double spin asymmetry (A\tsub{LL}) is sensitive to the polarized gluon distribution ($\Delta g(x)$).

Programmed Aggregation of Lipidated Nitrobenzoselenadiazole as a Photo‐Activatable Pyroptosis Inducer

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents alkylated nitrobenzoselenadiazole (NBSD) photosensitizers that self‐assemble into programmable aggregates, enabling photo‐triggered pyroptosis and enhanced ROS generation. The lead compound, NBSD‐NOc, exhibits superior photodynamic activity, high cellular uptake, and implantable gel compatibility with pH‐responsive release.

Directional integration and pathway enrichment analysis for multi-omics data

open access: yesNature Communications
Omics techniques generate comprehensive profiles of biomolecules in cells and tissues. However, a holistic understanding of underlying systems requires joint analyses of multiple data modalities. We present DPM, a data fusion method for integrating omics

Tumor Microenvironment‐responsive Nanocatalyst for Targeted Chemodynamic Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An Tumor microenvironment‐responsive nanocatalyst system composed of PLGA‐encapsulated Ca–Fe peroxide and polyarginine enables sustainable Fenton reaction in tumors. Low levels of H2O2 (50–100 µm) initiate the nanoparticle degradation, while polyarginine‐derived nitric oxide accelerates Fe3+ reduction, leading to self‐amplifying •OH generation for ...

Antitumoral Efficacy of AuNRs‐Laden ECFCs In Vitro and In Vivo: Decoding the Heat and Rays Combo Treatment in Breast Cancer and Melanoma Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Endothelial Colony Forming Cells (ECFCs) acted as cellular cyborgs, stealthily transporting gold nanorods (AuNRs) into tumors to enable targeted near‐infrared (NIR) hyperthermia combined with radiotherapy. This approach triggers ferroptosis in melanoma and inhibits autophagy in breast cancer, revealing a tumor‐specific response to nanomaterial‐assisted

Wigner function negativity and contextuality in quantum computation on rebits

open access: yes, 2015
We describe a universal scheme of quantum computation by state injection on rebits (states with real density matrices). For this scheme, we establish contextuality and Wigner function negativity as computational resources, extending results of [M. Howard
