Abstract ALLVAC 520 is a precipitation hardening nickel-base superalloy with good corrosion resistance and structural stability to about 1700 F (927 C). It has improved forgeability compared to ALLVAC 500 ZB (Alloy Digest Ni-380, March 1990). ALLVAC 520 is produced by vacuum induction melting followed by vacuum are remelting.
