A 10-bit, 550-fs step Digital-to-Time Converter in 28nm CMOS

European Solid-State Circuits Conference, 2014
This paper presents a 10-bit, 550-fs step Digital-to-Time Converter (DTC) used in the phase comparison path of a fractional-N, TDC-less and divider-less PLL.

Achieving 550 MHz in an ASIC methodology

Proceedings of the 38th Design Automation Conference (IEEE Cat. No.01CH37232), 2001
Typically, good automated ASIC designs may be two to five times slower than handcrafted custom designs. At last year's DAC this was examined and causes of the speed gap between custom circuits and ASICs were identified. In particular, faster custom speeds are achieved by a combination of factors: good architecture with well-balanced pipelines; compact ...

Search for a mass 550 particle

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1961
The mass of sea level cosmic ray particles has been determined from simultaneous measurements of range, momentum, and Cerenkov light. No resolved measurements around 550 me accompanied 448 stopping μ-mesons. The likelihood of not resolving a bona fide mass 550 particle is estimated to have been not greater than 10%.

A longitudinal follow-up of 550 mild cognitive impairment patients: evidence for large conversion to dementia rates and detection of major risk factors involved.

Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, 2013
The most recent studies about mild cognitive impairment (MCI) are focused on the search for factors that make patients more vulnerable to conversion to dementia, mainly Alzheimer's disease (AD).

550 mJ Q-switched cryogenic Ho:YLF oscillator pumped with a 100 W Tm:fiber laser.

Optics Letters, 2013
We report 550 mJ pulses with 14 ns FWHM duration at 1 Hz repetition rate from a Q-switched cryogenic Ho:YLF oscillator pumped with 100 W in 35 ms by a Tm:fiber laser.

Enhanced Electron Transfer from the Excited Eosin Y to mpg-C3N4 for Highly Efficient Hydrogen Evolution under 550 nm Irradiation

, 2012
Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) is a novel and stable metal-free photocatalyst that can generate H2 from water under visible light irradiation, but its activity is significantly limited due to the insufficient light absorption in the solar spectrum ...

550-mW Output Power From a Narrow Linewidth All-Phosphate Fiber Laser

Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2013
We present a compact monolithic all-phosphate glass fiber laser with up to 550 mW of output power operating on a single longitudinal mode. We measured a linewidth of less than 60 kHz and relaxation oscillation peak amplitudes below -100 dB/Hz without ...
