Transport properties of bulk water at 243–550 K: a Comparative molecular dynamics simulation study using SPC/E, TIP4P, and TIP4P/2005 water models

Molecular Physics, 2019
Molecular dynamics simulations of various water models – SPC/E (extended simple point charge), TIP4P (transferable intermolecular potential 4 points), and TIP4P/2005 – have been carried out in the canonical (NVT fixed) ensemble over the range of ...

Corrosion Interaction of 9%Cr Ferritic/Martensitic Steels at 450 and 550 °C With Flowing Pb–Bi Eutectic Containing 10−7 Mass % Dissolved Oxygen

Journal of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science, 2019
Corrosion behavior of 9%Cr F/M P92, E911, and EUROFER steels was investigated in flowing (2 m/s) Pb–Bi with 10−7 mass % O at 450 and 550 °C for up to 8766 and 2011 h, respectively. The steels show mixed corrosion modes simultaneously revealing protective

Mass-550 Particle

Physical Review, 1959
At an altitude of 2550 m a search has been carried out for the 550-mass particle which, at the Moscow International Conference in May 1956, was reported to exist with an abundance of 0.5% relative to muons of the same range. Preliminary evidence against this datum is now reinforced by the results of a new series of measurements in which particles ...

A search for particles of 550 me

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1958
In the experiment reported, mass determinations are essentially based on measurements of energy loss and range. The apparatus for detecting the particles is described. No 550 mass particles were observed in a time interval during which six could have been expected on the basis of their reported abundance.

Efficient Semipolar (11-22) 550 nm Yellow/Green InGaN Light-Emitting Diodes on Low Defect Density (11-22) GaN/Sapphire Templates.

ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2017
We demonstrate efficient semipolar (11-22) 550 nm yellow/green InGaN light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with In0.03Ga0.97N barriers on low defect density (11-22) GaN/patterned sapphire templates. The In0.03Ga0.97N barriers were clearly identified, and no InGaN

Search for Mass-550 Particles

Physical Review Letters, 1958
The apparatus used in the search for cosmic-ray particles of mass ~550m/ sub e/ is described. It is concluded that the abundance of mass-550m/sub e/ particles which decay into a light meson is less than about 0.05% relative to mu mesons.

Destruction of C-550 by ultraviolet radiation

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Bioenergetics, 1971
Abstract Low-temperature absorption spectra of spinach chloroplasts measured after different periods of ultraviolet radiation show that C-550 is destroyed by the ultraviolent treatment. Cytochrome b559 is oxidized and denatured so that it is no longer reducible by ascorbate.

550. Tilia Endochrysea. Tiliaceae

Curtis's Botanical Magazine, 2006
Summary. Tilia endochrysea Hand.-Mazz. is native in mixed evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved woods in the mountains of south-eastern China. It differs from all other living species of Tilia in several characters which may be regarded as primitive.

Hyperspectral absorption coefficient of “pure” seawater in the range of 350–550 nm inverted from remote sensing reflectance

, 2015
Hyperspectral (every 5 nm) absorption coefficients of “pure” seawater in the range of 350–550 nm are derived from remote sensing reflectance measured in oligotrophic oceans. The absorption spectrum is reduced by ∼50–70% for the 350–400-nm range and ∼5–10%
