RESPONSE OF TWO SUNFLOWER (HELIANTHUS ANNUUS L.) GENOTYPES TO VA-MYCORRHIZAL INOCULATION AND PHOSPHORUS LEVELS

open access: yesBiotropia: The Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Biology, 2011
The performance of two sunflower genotypes (Morden and MSFH-8) with and without VA-mycorrhizal fungi at three P levels (38, 56 and 75 kg P2O5 ha -1 ) in vertisol of Dharwad was studied to determine the effect of mycorrhizal inoculation on plant growth,

Conductance and Shot Noise for Particles with Exclusion Statistics [PDF]

open access: yesPhys. Rev. Lett. 83 (1999) 580-583, 1998
The first quantized Landauer approach to conductance and noise is generalized to particles obeying exclusion statistics. We derive an explicit formula for the crossover between the shot and thermal noise limits and argue that such a crossover can be used to determine experimentally whether charge carriers in FQHE devices obey exclusion statistics.

Abelian hard thermal loops on a lattice [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl. 83 (2000) 580-582, 1999
In Abelian theories, one can write for the hard thermal loop equations of motions a local formulation that is more economical than the traditional Vlasov formulation and is in explicitly canonical form. I show how this formulation can be used for simulating non-equilibrium dynamics in the Abelian Higgs model.

Photoluminescence Spectra of the 580-nm Center in Irradiated Diamonds

open access: yesJournal of Applied Spectroscopy, 2019
The formation mechanisms of the zero-phonon line optical center at 580 nm (H19 center) in photoluminescence spectra of irradiated natural diamonds and those deposited from the vapor phase were studied after their high-temperature vacuum annealing.

Mapping between the Sinh-Gordon and Ising Models [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett. B317 (1993) 573-580, 1993
The $S$-matrix of the Ising Model can be obtained as particular limit of the roaming trajectories associated to of the $S$-matrix of the Sinh-Gordon model. Using the form factors of the Sinh-Gordon, we analyse the correspondence between the operators of the two theories.

Dynamical correlation functions of the XXZ spin-1/2 chain [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys. B729 (2005) 558-580, 2004
We derive a master equation for the dynamical spin-spin correlation functions of the XXZ spin-1/2 Heisenberg finite chain in an external magnetic field. In the thermodynamic limit, we obtain their multiple integral representation.

Practical experience with antiresistance strategies in the fungicides control of potato late blight

open access: yesPlant Protection Science, 2002
Pathogens with rapid reproductive cycles, producing large number wind-spread dispersed infection propagules like sporangiospores, are more likely to pose problems of resistance than slowly reproducing pathogens, which are dispersed over only short ...

Coupling Capillary Zone Electrophoresis to a Q Exactive HF Mass Spectrometer for Top-down Proteomics: 580 Proteoform Identifications from Yeast.

open access: yesJournal of Proteome Research, 2016
We used reversed-phase liquid chromatography to separate the yeast proteome into 23 fractions. These fractions were then analyzed using capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) coupled to a Q-Exactive HF mass spectrometer using an electrokinetically pumped ...

Evidence for Antipodal Hot Spots During X-ray Bursts From 4U 1636-536 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The discovery of high-frequency brightness oscillations in thermonuclear X-ray bursts from several neutron-star low-mass X-ray binaries has important implications for the beat frequency model of kilohertz quasi-periodic brightness oscillations, the propagation of nuclear burning, the structure of the subsurface magnetic fields in neutron stars, and the

Biological and molecular characterization of various isolates of Potato virus Y-N (PVY-N) strain group

open access: yesPlant Protection Science, 2002
Fourteen Potato virus Y (PVY) isolates were characterized. They represented PVYN strain only. However, application of serological and molecular genetic methods led to a more complicated characterization.
