Bound States for the Spin-1/2 Aharonov-Bohm Problem in a Rotating Frame

open access: yesUniverse, 2021
In this paper, we study the effects of rotation in the spin-1/2 non-relativistic Aharonov-Bohm problem for bound states. We use a technique based on the self-adjoint extension method and determine an expression for the energies of the bound states.

Predictive factors for fever and sepsis following percutaneous nephrolithotomy: A review of 580 patients

open access: yesUrology Annals, 2017
Aims: There has been much speculation and discussion about the infective complications of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). While fever is common after PCNL, the incidence of it progressing to urosepsis is fortunately less.

Correlation of Chest CT and RT-PCR Testing in Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in China: A Report of 1014 Cases

open access: yesRadiology, 2020
Background Chest CT is used for diagnosis of 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as an important complement to the reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests. Purpose To investigate the diagnostic value and consistency of chest

Baxter Equation for Quantum Discrete Boussinesq Equation [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.B604:580-602,2001, 2001
Studied is the Baxter equation for the quantum discrete Boussinesq equation. We explicitly construct the Baxter $\mathcal{Q}$ operator from a generating function of the local integrals of motion of the affine Toda lattice field theory, and show that it solves the third order operator-valued difference equation.

Purification and immobilization of laccase from Trichoderma harzianum strain HZN10 and its application in dye decolorization

open access: yesJournal of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, 2017
In this study we report the purification of laccase produced by Trichoderma harzianum strain HZN10 (using wheat bran under solid state fermentation) and its application in decolorization of synthetic dyes.

Results on Binary Soft Topological Spaces

open access: yesRatio Mathematica, 2023
The Baire space is used in the proof of results in many areas of analysis and geometry, including some of the fundamental theorems of functional analysis. The concept of Baire spaces has been studied extensively in general topology.

Vibration and vibration-torsion levels of the S1 state of para-fluorotoluene in the 580-830 cm-1 range: Interactions and coincidences.

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Physics, 2017
A study of the vibration and vibration-torsion levels of para-fluorotoluene in the 580-830 cm-1 region is presented, where a number of features are located whose identity is complicated by interactions and overlap.

Adaptive significance of the transparent body in the tadpoles of ornamented pygmy frog, Microhyla ornata (Anura, Amphibia)

open access: yesActa Herpetologica, 2020
In Southern India, during the Southwest monsoon phase, the newly formed ephemeral water bodies harbour several species of tadpoles as well as some of their predators. Tadpoles of Microhyla ornata dwell in surface or column zones of water.

Assessing the treatment of cannabidiolic acid methyl ester: a stable synthetic analogue of cannabidiolic acid on c-Fos and NeuN expression in the hypothalamus of rats

open access: yesJournal of Cannabis Research, 2021
Background Cannabidiol (CBD), the non-psychotropic compound from Cannabis sativa, shows positive results on controlling several health disturbances; however, comparable data regarding additional chemical from C. sativa, such as cannabidiolic acid (CBDA),
