This meta‐analysis aimed to estimate the prevalence of formaldehyde contact allergy and allergy to its five most common releasers among dermatitis patients. Significantly Different Prevalences of Contact Allergy to Hydroperoxides of Linalool and Limonene When Patch Testing With Different Patch Test Chambers

Finn Chamber AQUA (FCA) detects significantly higher contact allergy prevalences to linalool hydroperoxides (7.0% vs. 5.1% FC) and limonene hydroperoxides (7.8% vs. 3.0% FC, 3.8% IQ) than Finn Chamber (FC) or IQ Ultra (IQ) in 629 dermatitis patients; chamber choice is therefore crucial for diagnostics.
