A New Maximum Power Point Tracking With a Combined Particle Swarm Optimization–Biogeography‐Based Optimization Algorithm for Photovoltaic System

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This paper presents a new maximum power point tracking with a combined particle swarm optimization–biogeography‐based optimization algorithm for photovoltaic system. In this paper to assess the accuracy of the proposed ‎ method, algorithms were implemented in the microcontroller.

Experimental Simulation Investigation on Mechanism and Criterion of Impact‐Induced Rockburst in Gaoloushan Deep Tunnel

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT During the excavation of a deep‐buried tunnel by the drilling and blasting method, the dynamic stress of blasting may cause the disorderly release of high energy in the rock mass during the blasting process of deep high‐energy rock. Blasting vibration is one of the main factors inducing dynamic disasters (such as rockbursts) in the surrounding

Prospects and Challenges of Proton Conducting Cerates in Electrochemical Hydrogen Devices for Clean Energy Systems: A Review

open access: yesGlobal Challenges, EarlyView.
This review paper highlights the current development of cerate‐based proton‐conducting oxides (PCOs) used as an electrolyte in electrochemical devices named hydrogen pumps, hydrogen isotope separation systems, tritium recovery systems, and hydrogen sensors. The challenges and prospects of proton‐conducting cerates are also discussed.

Examining Reasons for Using Non‐Primary Care Providers as Usual Source of Health Care: Insights From the All of Us Study

open access: yesHealth Care Science, EarlyView.
Transitioning individuals who seek usual care at urgent care clinics and emergency rooms to primary care usual sources of care should have improved continuity of care and use of preventive services, which would also generate cost savings. For this, interventions must address multiple barriers that deter some individuals from establishing a primary care

Should I Stay or Should I Go? A Relational Biopsychosocial Perspective on Neurodivergent Talent, Career Satisfaction and Turnover Intention

open access: yesHuman Resource Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neuroinclusion in human resources management (HRM) research and practice should go beyond the business case argument for neurodiversity (ND) to move to a nuanced understanding of harnessing neurodivergent talent. We argue for a biopsychosocial HRM perspective from an explicit non‐ableist stance, to illuminate in‐work experience to inform ...

Noncausal AR‐ARCH Model and Its Applications to Financial Time Series

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We extend the noncausal autoregressive models by introducing noncausality into the variance component, allowing the volatility to depend on future prices as well. We refer to this model as the noncausal AR‐ARCH model, and it enables us to account for shocks arising from market agents who possess more information and engage in forward‐looking ...
