Black Holes at the LHC [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
If the scale of quantum gravity is near a TeV, the LHC will be producing one black hole (BH) about every second. The BH decays into prompt, hard photons and charged leptons is a clean signature with low background.

Scanning Tunneling Microscopy/Spectroscopy of Vortices in LiFeAs

open access: yes, 2012
We investigate vortices in LiFeAs using scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy. Zero-field tunneling spectra show two superconducting gaps without detectable spectral weight near the Fermi energy, evidencing fully-gapped multi-band superconductivity.
