Dual‐Emission Switching in a Mn(II)‐Based Hybrid Bromide via Water Coordination: Synthesis, Structure, and Processing

This study reports the synthesis, structure, and optical properties of (pr‐ted)2[MnBr4], a luminescent manganese (II) hybrid halide. It shows green emission under UV and transforms into a red‐emitting hydrated phase with humidity, reversible by heat or vacuum. Structural, photophysical, and theoretical analyses confirm the mechanism.
