This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.

Developing JSequitur to Study the Hierarchical Structure of Biological Sequences in a Grammatical Inference Framework of String Compression Algorithms [PDF]
Grammatical inference methods are expected to find grammatical structures hidden in biological sequences. One hopes that studies of grammar serve as an appropriate tool for theory formation.

Measuring the diphoton coupling of a 750 GeV resonance [PDF]
A slight excess has been observed in the first data of photon-photon events at the 13 TeV LHC, that might be interpreted has a hint of physics beyond the Standard Model.

Complementarity of Long‐Reads and Optical Mapping in Parkinson's Disease for Structural Variants
ABSTRACT Objective Long‐read sequencing and optical genome mapping technologies have the ability to detect large and complex structural variants. This has led to the discovery of novel pathogenic variants in neurodegenerative movement disorders. Thus, we aimed to systematically compare the SV detection capabilities of OGM and ONT in Parkinson's disease.

Addressing Economic Insecurities Can Improve Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Lupus
Objective Economic insecurities, such as food, housing, transportation, and financial challenges, are modifiable risk factors and influence patient‐reported outcomes (PROs) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We examined the following: (1) associations between economic insecurities and PROs, and (2) the impact of screening and addressing economic ...

A Mechanism of the Strange Isotopic Fractionation of Oxygen Found in Meteorite and Laboratory [PDF]
The thermodynamic nonequilibrium distribution of the vibrational states of ozone coupled with anharmonic predissociation produces an unusual isotopomeric pattern of oxygen molecules.
