Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Two Higgs doublets to explain the excesses pp → γγ(750 GeV) and h → τ±μ∓
A bstractThe two Higgs doublet model emerges as a minimal scenario in which to address, at the same time, the γγ excess at 750 GeV and the lepton flavour violating decay into τ±μ∓ of the 125 GeV Higgs boson.

Diphoton excess at 750 GeV and LHC constraints in models with vectorlike particles [PDF]
Recently, the ATLAS and CMS collaborations report excesses around 750 GeV in the diphoton channels. This might be the evidence which reveals new physics beyond the Standard Model.

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

A Mechanism of the Strange Isotopic Fractionation of Oxygen Found in Meteorite and Laboratory [PDF]
The thermodynamic nonequilibrium distribution of the vibrational states of ozone coupled with anharmonic predissociation produces an unusual isotopomeric pattern of oxygen molecules.

Complementarity of Long‐Reads and Optical Mapping in Parkinson's Disease for Structural Variants
ABSTRACT Objective Long‐read sequencing and optical genome mapping technologies have the ability to detect large and complex structural variants. This has led to the discovery of novel pathogenic variants in neurodegenerative movement disorders. Thus, we aimed to systematically compare the SV detection capabilities of OGM and ONT in Parkinson's disease.

Pannus Is the New Prepuce? Penile Cancer in a Buried Phallus
Two males presented to our urology department with complaints of bleeding and malodor from buried phallus within a suprapubic fat pad. Although both men had neonatal circumcisions, advanced penile carcinoma was found in both men.

Left-right asymmetry and 750 GeV diphoton excess [PDF]
We propose the left-right models based on SU(3)_C\otimes SU(M)_L \otimes SU(N)_R \otimes U(1)_X gauge symmetry for (M,N)=(3,3), (2,3), and (3,2) that address the 750 GeV diphoton excess recently reported by the LHC.
