By chemical vapor deposition, we have tried to grow epitaxial films of graphene nano-ribbons on Pt (755) and TiC (755) surfaces. Some properties of these graphene films have been clarified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, low energy electron diffraction, and angle-resolved ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy.
