Long-Term Stability of Ni–Sn–Fe-Based Coatings Prepared by Electrodeposition for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesECS Advances, 2023
A coating comprising Ni, Sn, and Fe was deposited on a Ni mesh by cathodic polarization from a bath containing Ni ^2+ , Sn ^2+ , and Fe ^3+ salts in solution, and the oxygen evolution reaction properties of the thus obtained electrode were investigated ...

Temperature‐ and Light‐Regulated Liquid Crystal Smart Window for Dynamic Control of Daylight and Solar Heat in All‐Weather Conditions

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
An environmentally adaptive smart window based on the interplay of light‐driven molecular motors and liquid crystal (LC) polymers is developed. The window can dynamically switch among three distinct working states: transparent, reflective, and scattering, depending on ambient temperature and solar light intensity, enabling excellent modulation of ...

Electronic States of Monolayer Graphene on Pt (755) and TiC (755)

open access: yesTANSO, 2000
By chemical vapor deposition, we have tried to grow epitaxial films of graphene nano-ribbons on Pt (755) and TiC (755) surfaces. Some properties of these graphene films have been clarified by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, low energy electron diffraction, and angle-resolved ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy.

A Unified Polymer Hydrogel Electrolyte Integrating Robust Adhesion, Self‐Healing, and Oxygen Permeability in Flexible Neutral Zn‐Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible neutral Zn‐air batteries achieving a remarkable 3000‐cycle lifespan and withstanding 1000 bending cycles are reported. This performance is realized by employing a 3D physically cross‐linked neutral hydrogel electrolyte that integrates high adhesion, self‐healing, O2 permeability, and CO2 tolerance to resolve critical stability challenges ...
