Carbon‐negative carbon nanotubes produced by molten CO2 electrolysis offer a low‐cost, high‐performance alternative to graphite in Li‐ion battery anodes. Replacing conventional carbon materials with electrolytic CNTs can improve battery capacity and charging performance while reducing costs and contributing to carbon mitigation.

In this work, a novel biomolecule/semiconductor hybrid catalyst was prepared by loading anthraquinone‐liked juglone onto anatase TiO2. This catalyst exhibited high photocatalytic activity for H2O2 production. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a vital oxidant with broad industrial applications, and its production via photocatalysis represents a highly ...

The 366 patients diagnosed with transthyretin amyloidosis cardiomyopathy (ATTR‐CM) were analyzed regarding their clinical characteristics in the first year after approval of tafamidis 61 mg for ATTR‐CM in Germany. Nearly two‐thirds of the patients were in an advanced disease stage and 64% met the key criteria of the “Transthyretin Amyloidosis ...

Synthesis, Structure, and Lewis Acidity of Heavy Pnictenium Cations
A series of donor‐coordinated and donor‐free heavy pnictenium cations were synthesized and structurally characterized. The cations are strong Lewis acids according to experimental (Gutmann–Beckett method) and computational studies (FIAs). Strained pnictanes L1PnNaph (Pn = Sb 1, Bi 2; L1 = 2,6‐(2,4,6‐i‐Pr3C6H2)2C6H3) were synthesized and protonation ...

Identifying synthetic targets: A computational methodology for the estimation of redox potentials of weakly coordinated transition metal complexes was established. Using Born–Fajans–Haber cycles, metal ionization and sublimation energies, solvation energies, and coordinative strength of the ligand were identified as potential‐determining parameters. In

Synthesis of Flavones by Intramolecular O‐Arylation of Unactivated Halogenated Aryl‐1,3‐diketones
A protocol for the synthesis of flavone derivatives starting from mono‐ and dihalogenated diketones including fluorinated derivatives in a very simple and effective way is reported. Flavones are an important class of secondary metabolites in plants. Here we report a straightforward method for the conversion of unactivated halogenated 1,3‐biaryl‐1,3 ...
