Compound polyglactin 910/polypropylene small vessel prostheses [PDF]
This study evaluated morphologic and functional characteristics of tissue reactions to compound prostheses of 69% absorbable polyglactin 910 (PG910) and 31% nonabsorbable polypropylene in the rabbit. Forty-two woven PG910/polypropylene prostheses (24 X 4 mm internal diameter) implanted into rabbit infrarenal aortas were harvested after 2 weeks to 12 ...

Monetary policy rules and the persistence of inflation and output [PDF]
This paper argues that the parameters of monetary policy rules affect the persistence of inflation and output. Persistence is lower if monetary policy emphasises the price level or if there is an inflation target. A greater emphasis on output increases

Effect of glazing and polishing on opalescence and fluorescence of dental ceramics
Abstract Objective Tooth enamel has opalescence and fluorescence, which should be mimicked by esthetic dental restorations. The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of glazing and polishing on the opalescence and fluorescence of dental ceramics. Materials and Methods Twenty‐four discs were fabricated of feldspathic, IPS e.max, zirconia, and

Chemical Bonds Containing Hydrogen: Choices for Hydrogen Carriers and Catalysts
Hydrogen carriers utilizing B─H, C─H, N─H, and O─H bonds are evaluated for their potential in hydrogen storage and release. Key candidates such as methanol, ammonia, and formic acid are examined with a focus on critical factors influencing performance, including the nature of chemical bonds, reaction pathways, and catalytic processes.

Study of hot deformation behavior of CuFe2 alloy [PDF]
Nil strength temperature of 1062 degrees C and nil ductility temperature of 1040 degrees C were experimentally set for CuFe2 alloy. The highest formability at approx. 1020 degrees C is unusable due to massive grain coarsening.
