Word sense disambiguation criteria: a systematic study [PDF]

This article describes the results of a systematic in-depth study of the criteria used for word sense disambiguation. Our study is based on 60 target words: 20 nouns, 20 adjectives and 20 verbs. Our results are not always in line with some practices in the field.

Impact of body mass index as a continuous variable on short‐ and long‐term outcomes in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer

Three‐year relapse‐free survival was possibly better in severe obese patients (BMI ≥28.5 kg/m2) who underwent laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer. It suggests that the prognosis of highly obese colorectal cancer patients follow the obesity paradox. Abstract Background The impact of obesity on colon cancer remains unclear.

In this paper, we give a weak classification of locally linear pseudofree actions of the cyclic group of order 3 on a $K3$ surface, and prove the existence of such an action which can not be realized as a smooth action on the standard smooth $K3$ surface.
