Large Field Cutoffs Make Perturbative Series Converge [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl. 106 (2002) 908-910, 2001
For lambda phi^4 problems, convergent perturbative series can be obtained by cutting off the large field configurations. The modified series converge to values exponentially close to the exact ones. For lambda larger than some critical value, the method outperforms Pade approximants and Borel summations.

Dual‐Scale Hydration‐Induced Electrical and Mechanical Torsional Energy Harvesting in Heterophilically Designed CNT Yarns

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Despite the abundance and vast energy potential of water, its efficient utilization is hindered by single‐mode energy conversion. Herein, heterophilic CNT yarns that allow for simultaneous energy harvesting by means of dual‐scale hydration—electrical energy harvesting through proton gradients and mechanical torsional harvesting through microchannel ...

Insight into nucleon structure from generalized parton distributions [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.Proc.Suppl.129:910-912,2004, 2003
The lowest three moments of generalized parton distributions are calculated in full QCD and provide new insight into the behavior of nucleon electromagnetic form factors, the origin of the nucleon spin, and the transverse structure of the nucleon.

In Situ Polymerized Polyfluorinated Crosslinked Polyether Electrolytes for High‐Voltage Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In situ polymerized polyfluorinated crosslinked polyether electrolytes are engineered for high‐voltage Li metal batteries. Electron‐withdrawing fluorinated groups enhance oxidative stability, improve interfacial compatibility, and promote inorganic‐rich solid electrolyte interphase formation for uniform Li deposition.

Utilização do adesivo N-butil cianoacrilato e o do fio poliglactina na rafia de córnea em coelhos (Oryctolagus cunicullus)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science, 2003

The Plasmon in Hot $φ^4$ Theory [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.D53:899-910,1996, 1995
We study the 2-loop resummed propagator in hot $g^2\phi^4$ theory. The propagator has a cut along the whole real axis in the complex energy plane, but for small $g$, the spectral density is sharply peaked around the plasmon. The dispersion relation and the width of the plasmon are calculated at zero {\em and} finite momentum.

Te Whakaruruhau Transition and Wellbeing programme: An implementation evaluation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Based on the recognition that many women who come into refuge have few options but to return to the sort of environment in which they have been abused, the Transition and Wellbeing programme aims to provide medium to long term housing for families as ...
