Typhoid fever, caused by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi, infects millions of individuals per year. Chronic carriage of typhoid fever is associated with biofilm formation in the gallbladder. Herein, we identify novel antibiofilm agents active against Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium.
