The correlation of ABC goal attainment with insulin resistance/sensitivity in Syrian type 2 diabetes patients

open access: yesDiabetes Epidemiology and Management
Background: The rising prevalence of type 2 diabetes (T2D) in Syria emphasizes the urgent requirement for effective management approaches. The ABC goals, which include maintaining glycated hemoglobin levels below 7 %, blood pressure below 140/90 mmHg ...

PSMA8‐Containing 20S Proteasome Regulates Spermiogenesis and Male Fertility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PSMA8 assembles s20S proteasome that degrades specific substrates in elongating spermatids. Degradation of s20S‐substrates activates translation of FXR1‐target mRNAs, which are essential for mitochondrial sheath formation and sperm morphogenesis.

ABC index of cartesian product of some graphs

open access: yesCeylon Journal of Science
A topological index is a numerical value associated with a molecular graph that describes the correlation between molecular structure and physio-chemical properties. The atom-bond connectivity (ABC) index is a widely studied degree-based topological index in mathematical chemistry, leading to numerous results that incorporate both the structural ...

Disruption of Treg Homeostasis in Rheumatoid Arthritis via Ferroptosis‐Mediated ETC Collapse and TXK‐STAT3/PLCγ1 Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.

ASSOCIATION OF ABC-INDEX WITH OTHER TOPOLOGICAL INDICES

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics
A graph's links as well as verges determine its atom-bond-connectivity indicator. This study highlights key findings on the Atom bond indicator. The study explores the Atom bond indicator indicator's findings, paying particular attention to its degrees, verges, and links.

Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts Promote Tumor Immunosuppression in Hepatocellular Carcinoma via the NNMT‐ANGPTL4 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background & Aims: Cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) drive immunosuppression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, their metabolic regulation remains poorly defined. We investigated the role of nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase (NNMT) in CAFs. Approach & Results: High NNMT expression in CAF tissues was confirmed by western blotting and
