Az ABC-fehérjék Tudományos Iskolája: a gének regulációjától a transzport-mechanizmusig = The School of ABC-proteins: From Gene Regulation to Transport Mechanism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010

Frequent down-regulation of ABC transporter genes in prostate cancer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Background: ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters are transmembrane proteins responsible for the efflux of a wide variety of substrates, including steroid metabolites, through the cellular membranes.

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.

ABC transzporterek vizsgálata emberi őssejtekben és a sejt-differenciálódás során = Expression and function of ABC transporters in human stem cells and during cell differentiation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011

Understanding and Overcoming Antibody‐Drug Conjugate Resistance: Biological Mechanisms and Emerging Analytical Frameworks in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) transform breast cancer therapy, yet resistance limits their durability. Emerging evidence reveals that ADC failure is not solely tumor‐intrinsic but shaped by dynamic tumor–microenvironment interactions that alter drug delivery, processing, and response.

A Testis‐Specific Aralkylamine N‐Acetyltransferase Regulates Dimorphic Sperm Function and Male Fertility in Moths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

ABC transzporterek fiziológiás szerepkörökben = ABC transporters in physiological contexts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Az ABC transzporterek egy ősi fehérjecsalád tagjai, melyek az emlős sejtekben is szerteágazó funkciókkal bírnak. Általunk vizsgált tagjuk a humán P-glikoprotein (Pgp), melyet a tumorok kemoterápiájának meghiúsítása alapján azonosítottak.

Maternal Preconception Antibiotic Exposure Disrupts Microbial Succession: A Transgenerational Risk for Offspring Gut Mucosal Immaturity and Colitis Susceptibility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that maternal antibiotic exposure prior to conception disrupts intergenerational gut microbial succession. By enhancing maternal‐offspring microbial transmission, altering microbial developmental trajectories and increasing selective pressures during community assembly, these disturbances lead to persistent gut mucosal immaturity and

Dynamics of ABC Transporter P-glycoprotein in Three Conformational States. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We used hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) to obtain a comprehensive view of transporter dynamics (85.8% sequence coverage) occurring throughout the multidrug efflux transporter P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in three distinct conformational ...

Coordination of Cyanobacterial Nitrate Assimilation and Photosynthesis by a Novel PsbO‐Interacting Protein PirN

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PirN was identified as a previously uncharacterized PsbO‐interacting protein specifically induced in nitrate‐grown cyanobacteria. Loss of PirN leads to coordinated downregulation of PsbO and the nitrate reductase NarB, causing decreased PSII activity and impaired growth under nitrate conditions. Complementation with either PsbO or NarB largely restores
