Higher-order Abel equations: Lagrangian formalism, first integrals and Darboux polynomials

open access: yes, 2009
A geometric approach is used to study a family of higher-order nonlinear Abel equations. The inverse problem of the Lagrangian dynamics is studied in the particular case of the second-order Abel equation and the existence of two alternative Lagrangian ...

Approximate solution of Abel integral equation in Daubechies wavelet basis

open access: yesCubo, 2021
This paper presents a new computational method for solving Abel integral equation (both first kind and second kind). The numerical scheme is based on approximations in Daubechies wavelet basis. The properties of Daubechies scale functions are employed to

Methods for deriving functional equations for Feynman integrals

open access: yes, 2017
We present short review of two methods for obtaining functional equations for Feynman integrals. Application of these methods for finding functional equations for one- and two- loop integrals is described in detail.

Approximate Solutions of Fractional Differential Equations Using Optimal q-Homotopy Analysis Method: A Case Study of Abel Differential Equations

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In this study, the optimal q-Homotopy Analysis Method (optimal q-HAM) has been used to investigate fractional Abel differential equations. This article is designed as a case study, where several forms of Abel equations, containing Bernoulli and Riccati ...

From Abel equations to Jacobian conjecture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This is a survey relating several subjects bridging algebraic differential equations and their integrability, pertubative approach based on algebraic moments, the Jacobian conjecture and optimal transport of measures defined on the complement of an ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Serum Bile Acids Are Useful Indicators of Intrahepatic Recurrence After Initial Curative Hepatectomy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aim Bile acids accumulation in hepatocytes causes liver damage and contributes to the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. However, the association between serum bile acid levels and postoperative intrahepatic recurrence in hepatocellular carcinoma remains unclear.

Babenko’s Approach to Abel’s Integral Equations [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
The goal of this paper is to investigate the following Abel’s integral equation of the second kind: y ( t ) + λ Γ ( α ) ∫ 0 t ( t − τ ) α − 1 y ( τ ) d τ = f ( t ) , ( t > 0 ) and its variants by fractional calculus. Applying Babenko’s approach and fractional integrals, we provide a general method for solving Abel’s ...
