Our study shows that the generalized structure of urban plant–pollinator interactions is mirrored in the mechanisms that shape them, as interactions are governed primarily by less restrictive drivers such as abundance and spatiotemporal overlap rather than by trait matching.

Comparing GHG Emissions of Residue‐Based BECCS to Alternative Biomass Uses
We compare the total emissions of two future BECCS plants in the Netherlands using wood and bagasse residues to the current coal‐biomass plants. Then we assess the BECCS emissions overtime compared to different uses of the same biomass wood and bagasse residues.

ABSTRACT Wasps, although less recognised as good pollinators, also feed on nectar and pollinate flowers. Specialised pollination systems, such as orchids that mimic the pheromones of female wasps to attract males, are complex and specific. This interaction occurs with some Thyninnae wasps that also visit flowers to obtain nectar and perform other ...

ABSTRACT Habitat loss and fragmentation (HLF) are among the major drivers of bee decline, yet closely related species often show contrasting responses depending on their ecological and demographic traits. The Brazilian Cerrado biodiversity hotspot experiences among the world's highest rates of HLF.

ABSTRACT Environmental and biological factors strongly shape fish diets, yet little is known about such influences in flooded Karst Dolines of the Neotropical region. This study examined the diet of Deuterodon luetkenii and assessed its temporal and ontogenetic variation in Lagoa Misteriosa, a karstic lagoon. Fish were sampled bimonthly over 1 year and
