Analyzing the Free States of one Quantum Resource Theory as Resource States of Another

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
The article investigates how free states in one quantum resource theory can become highly resourceful in another. It systematically studies multipartite entanglement, fermionic non‐Gaussianity, imaginarity, realness, spin coherence, Clifford non‐stabilizerness, Sn‐equivariance, and non‐uniform entanglement, combining rigorous analytical tools and ...

Geometric entanglement in topologically ordered states

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2014
Here we investigate the connection between topological order and the geometric entanglement, as measured by the logarithm of the overlap between a given state and its closest product state of blocks.

Topological Polar Textures in van der Waals Moiré Superlattices

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Moiré superlattices allow the realization of several novel properties, including the formation of complex topological polarization textures in ultrathin samples consisting of layered 2D materials. This review highlights the rapid progress in this emerging field, both through theory and experiment, discusses the field's potential implications, and draws

Two Types of Non‐Abelian Topological Phase Transitions Under Duality Mapping in 1D Photonic Chains

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
In this work, two types of non‐Abelian phase transitions are revealed. The first type is the braided‐node type, signified by the Dirac degeneracy node moving into or out of the unit circle. The second type corresponds to the emerging of nodal‐line degeneracy which intersects with unit circles.

Randomized Hypergraph States and Their Entanglement Properties

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 1, January 2026.
Randomized hypergraph (RH) states are mixed states that extend the concept of randomized graph states to multi‐qubit hypergraphs subject to probabilistic gate imperfections. By modeling noisy multi‐qubit operations, this work reveals nonmonotonic behavior in bipartite and multipartite entanglement, derives analytical witnesses for specific hypergraph ...

An autoencoder for heterotic orbifolds with arbitrary geometry

open access: yesJournal of Physics Communications
Artificial neural networks can be an important tool to improve the search for admissible string compactifications and characterize them. In this paper we construct the heterotic orbiencoder , a general deep autoencoder to study heterotic orbifold models ...

Topological Aspects of Quadratic Graphs and M‐Polynomials Utilizing Classes of Finite Quasigroups

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Material science, drug design and toxicology studies, which relate a molecule’s structure to its numerous properties and activities, are studied with the use of the topological index. Graphs with finite algebraic structure find extensive applications in fields such as mathematics, elliptic curve cryptography, physics, robotics and information theory ...

Sequences of rational torsions on abelian varieties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
We address the question of how fast the available rational torsion on abelian varieties over Q increases with dimension. The emphasis will be on the derivation of sequences of torsion divisors on hyperelliptic curves. Work of Hellegouarch and Lozach (and

Twisted gauging and topological sectors in (2+1)d Abelian lattice gauge theories

open access: yesSciPost Physics
Given a two-dimensional quantum lattice model with an Abelian gauge theory interpretation, we investigate a duality operation that amounts to gauging its invertible 1-form symmetry, followed by gauging the resulting 0-form symmetry in a twisted way via a

An Algebraic Structure of Type‐2 Soft Sets: Type‐(1,2) Soft Groups

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Recently, many researchers have been studying the algebraic structures of soft sets such as soft semigroups, soft groups, soft rings, etc., and they have obtained some properties of these structures by considering the properties of classical algebraic structures. However, the algebraic structures of Type‐2 soft sets are still in their infancy.
