Sports and wavefront aberrometry
Abstract Purpose: In this paper we study the future applications of wavefront aberrometry in high‐level sportsmen and in Tennis pros in particular Methods: We compare the level of ocular aberrations between a group of International junior french tennis players from the « Pôle France » to Amateur Tennis Players of the same age, with a Shack‐Hartman ...

Objective refraction from aberrometry: theory [PDF]
A theoretical framework to formulate and solve the problem of obtaining the objective refraction of an eye from aberrometric data is presented. Matrix formalism was applied to represent lens power and beam vergences in standard clinical, sphere+cylinder (S+C) refraction, and to describe the vergence error of a general aberrated skew ray.

ABSTRACT Background To report the 1‐year clinical outcomes of decellularised human corneal stromal lamina implantation, with or without autologous adipose‐derived adult stem cells (ADASCs), for advanced keratoconus in a European cohort. Methods In this prospective, randomised Phase I/IIa trial, 10 eyes of 10 patients were allocated to decellularised ...

Immediate postoperative Pentacam corneal tomography revealing inferior‐temporal decentration of the biologic corneal inlay on the axial curvature map. ABSTRACT Biologic corneal inlays can rarely present with immediate postoperative decentration, which can be subtle and difficult to detect clinically. Real‐time tomography allows precise early diagnosis,

Background To investigate the impact of refractive and ocular residual astigmatism (ORA) on stereopsis after photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) for the correction of myopic astigmatism. Methods This prospective observational study was conducted on patients who underwent PRK for the treatment of myopia and myopic astigmatism using a Schwind Amaris 1050RS
