Abietane and 20-nor-abietane diterpenoids from the root of Meriandra benghalensis
Phytochemistry, 1992Abstract From the root of Meriandra benghalensis four abietane diterpenoids have been isolated. Two of these substances, horminone and cryptotanshinone, were previously known compounds and the other ones were the 12-O-methyl derivative of horminone, found for the first time as natural product, and 17-hydroxycryptotanshinone, a new substance whose ...

Abietane diterpenoids from Lycopodium complanatum
Fìtoterapìâ, 2018Five new abietane diterpenoids (complanatins A-E, 1-5) have been isolated from the club moss Lycopodium complanatum, along with two known abietane diterpenoids (xanthoperol and sugiol). Their structures were determined by comprehensive analysis of 1D, 2D NMR, CD and HRESIMS data.

Abietane diterpenoids and iridoids from Caryopteris mongolica
Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines, 2023Six new abietane diterpenoids (1-6) and five undescribed iridoids (7-11) have been isolated from the aerial parts of Caryopteris mongolica. The intricate structural characterization of these compounds was meticulously undertaken using an array of advanced spectroscopic techniques. This process was further enhanced by the application of DP4+ probability

Abietane diterpenoids from Isodon inflexus
Phytochemistry, 2012Four abietane diterpenoids, inflexanin C, inflexanin D, inflexuside A and inflexuside B, were isolated from the aerial parts of Isodon inflexus. Their respective structures were established by NMR, mass spectrometry and CD as (+)-(1S,4R,5S,7S,8S,10S,13S)-1,7,18-trihydroxy-abieta-9(11)-ene-12-one 1-monoacetate, (+)-(1S,4R,5S,10S,13S)-1,18-dihydroxy ...

Absolute Configuration of the Butenolide of Abietane
HETEROCYCLES, 202017-Hydroxyjolkinolide A-B (1-2) and jolkinolide A-B (3-4) are four ent-13(15)-abietane-16,12-olide type diterpenoids isolated from the roots of Euphorbia fischeriana Steud. The absolute configurations of 1 and 2 were established by X-ray crystallographic analysis of their mono-bromobenzoate derivatives.

ent-Abietane Lactones from Euphorbia
Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry, 2017Extracted from Euphorbia, ent-Abietane lactones can be classified into several categories, such as Jolkinolides and Helioscopinolides, according to their structural features. The study of ent- Abietane lactones could date back to 1972, when Jolkinolide A and B were first isolated from Euphorbia jolkini Boiss.

Abietane Diterpenes from Illicium angustisepalum
Journal of Natural Products, 1998Twelve novel (1, 2, 4, 5, 7-14) and two known (3, 6) abietane diterpenes and have been isolated from the aerial parts of Illicium angustisepalum. These diterpenes are unusual in that they are oxygenated at the axial C-19 position of the gem-dimethyl group rather than the equatorial C-18 position.
