ABSTRACT Ora‐pro‐nobis (OPN) is a food plant with polyphenol‐rich leaves. However, the influence of seasonality on their quantitative phenolic composition and how it impacts their bioactivities is unknown. OPN leaves were harvested throughout 12 months, and their individual phenolic content, antioxidant activity, and erythroprotection were assessed ...

Efficacy of Drying Maize Seeds Using Zeolite Beads Under Hermetic Storage Conditions
ABSTRACT Background Sun drying of seeds prior to storage is a common practice in Sub‐Saharan Africa (SSA), but this method is unpredictable, especially during rainy seasons. Seed longevity and survival in storage depend on seed moisture content (MC); hence, controlling MC in storage is essential.

Simple Fabrication Method of Needle‐Type Carbon‐Disk Microelectrodes Using Conductive Thermoplastics
A quick and simple method for fabricating needle‐type carbon microelectrodes is presented, using low melting point, electrically conductive, thermoplastics and the heat of a candle. The resulting partially blocked electrode surface is reasoned using numerical simulations and experiments.
