CHANGING BARREL SURFACE MACROGEOMETRY THROUGH VIBROFINISHING TREATMENT ON FLAT OSCILLATING SURFACE
The experimental results of barrel vibrofinishing (grinding-in) through rolling on the flat oscillating surface are presented. The given method is nonconventional, and it includes both finishing methods and vibrotransportation.

Abrasive wear between rough surfaces in deep drawing [PDF]
In tribology, many surface contact models are based on the assumption that surfaces are composed of a collection of small asperities of which the tips are equally sized and spherically shaped and have some kind of statistical height distribution.

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Surface finishing of hardened steel with abrasive brushes
7 S.Standard finishing processes normally require special machine tools whereby the process can be time-consuming and cost-intensive due to a high non-productive time.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

XV. Experiments on the friction and abrasion of the surfaces of solids [PDF]
Abstract The paper now offered to the consideration of the Royal Society, comprises the results of part of a series of experiments undertaken in the year 1825, with a view to determine the measure of the retardations of bodies in motion, when affected by the attrition of their surfaces, and by mediums of different densities.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Study on whole factorial experiment of polishing the micro-hole in non-linear tubes by abrasive flow
It is generally observed that special channels exit in many key components of machine, such as non-linear tube, applied in military or civil industries. Its surface finish is a crucial factor in the whole performance of machine.
