Rubber Wear: History, Mechanisms, and Perspectives [PDF]
This paper presents a comprehensive review of wear mechanisms, with a primary focus on rubber wear under sliding conditions. Beginning with classical wear theories, including the Archard and Rabinowicz models, we analyze their applicability to both metals and elastomers and discuss extensions relevant to elastic contact and multiscale surface roughness.

Robust Stick‐and‐Play Photothermal Icephobic Film with Bioinspired Insulation Cells
Inspired by the seed‐and‐framework structure of lotus seedpods, a photothermal anti‐icing film is developed by embedding thermal‐management hydrophobic microcells (THMC) into PDMS. Combining photothermal/insulating synergy and hydrophobic microcells, it achieves heat accumulation, surface adhesion, and robust anti‐icing under weak light, enabling ...

Effect of thermal treatments in high purity Ar on the oxidation behavior of arc-PVD c-Al0.66Ti0.33N coatings [PDF]
The effect of temperature in high purity Ar (low oxygen partial pressure) on the oxidation and crystal phase evolution of c-Al0.66Ti0.33N arc-PVD coatings was investigated. High temperature tribology in Ar jet and adhesion behavior of the oxidized coating were addressed.
