Speculative vs. Transcendental: a Deleuzian Response to Meillassoux [PDF]
In “Iteration, Reiteration, Repetition”, Quentin Meillassoux accuses Deleuze of forming a subjectalist philosophical system, that is to say, despite his critiques of subjectivism and representationalism, Deleuze absolutizes the correlation between ...

Absolute Continuity of Stable Seminorms
The authors prove the following Theorem: Let \(\mu\) be a symmetric p- stable measure on a complete separable metric vector space E and let \(q: E\to R^+\) be a lower semicontinuous seminorm. Then the distribution function of q is absolutely continuous, except possibly at \(u_ 0=\inf \{u>0:\) \(F(u)>0\}\).

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Pathogenic Neurofibromatosis type 1 gene variants in tumors of non‐NF1 patients and role of R1276
Somatic variants of the neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) gene occur across neoplasms without clinical manifestation of the disease NF1. We identified emerging somatic pathogenic NF1 variants and hotspots, for example, at the arginine finger 1276. Those missense variants provide fundamental information about neurofibromin's role in cancer.

Absolute Convergence of Continued Fractions [PDF]
wheref1 is a number, {a,, a2, a3, } is a sequence of nonzero numbers, and { b1, b2, b3, * } is a sequence of numbers. We obtain conditions necessary and sufficient for (1.1) to converge absolutely, and we indicate their relationship to older sufficient conditions. We find a new characterization of positive definite continued fractions, whose importance

Metformin mediates mitochondrial quality control in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) fibroblasts carrying mtDNA mutations. At therapeutic levels, metformin activates AMPK signaling to restore mitochondrial dynamics by promoting fusion and restraining fission, while preserving mitochondrial mass, enhancing autophagy/mitophagy and biogenesis ...

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...
