Absolute Convergence of Continued Fractions [PDF]
wheref1 is a number, {a,, a2, a3, } is a sequence of nonzero numbers, and { b1, b2, b3, * } is a sequence of numbers. We obtain conditions necessary and sufficient for (1.1) to converge absolutely, and we indicate their relationship to older sufficient conditions. We find a new characterization of positive definite continued fractions, whose importance

A double optimal solution (DOS) of a least-squares problem Ax=b,A∈Rq×n with q≠n is derived in an m+1-dimensional varying affine Krylov subspace (VAKS); two minimization techniques exactly determine the m+1 expansion coefficients of the solution x in the ...

On the Power of Absolute Convergence Tests [PDF]
This paper analyzes whether or not the econometric methods usually applied to test for absolute convergence have provided this hypothesis a "fair" chance. I show that traditional (absolute and conditional) convergence tests are not consistent with even the simplest model that displays convergence.

ABSTRACT Objective Epilepsy is increasingly associated with immune dysregulation and inflammation. The T cell receptor (TCR), a key mediator of adaptive immunity, shows repertoire alterations in various immune‐mediated diseases. The unique TCR sequence serves as a molecular barcode for T cells, and clonal expansion accompanied by reduced overall TCR ...
