Religious Feeling in Schleiermacher’s Standpoint and Otto’s Criticism on that

open access: yesComparative Theology, 2011
Friedrich Daniel Ernest Schleiermacher (1768-1834) was one of the most notable theologian and philosophers, who is known for his impressive attempts in modern theology after the age of enlightenment.

Charged-particle distributions in s=13 TeV pp interactions measured with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
Charged-particle distributions are measured in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, using a data sample of nearly 9 million events, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 170 μb−1, recorded by the ATLAS detector during a ...

Chiroptical studies on brevianamide B : vibrational and electronic circular dichroism confronted [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Chiroptical spectroscopy, such as electronic circular dichroism (ECD) and vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) are highly sensitive techniques to probe molecular conformation, configuration, solvation and aggregation.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Multiphoton interaction phase shifts in attosecond science

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
Ab initio simulations of a range of interferometric experiments are used to identify a strong dependence on multiphoton phase shifts in above-threshold ionization (ATI).

Long-range potential fluctuations and 1/f noise in hydrogenated amorphous silicon

open access: yes, 2003
We present a microscopic theory of the low-frequency voltage noise (known as "1/f" noise) in micrometer-thick films of hydrogenated amorphous silicon. This theory traces the noise back to the long-range fluctuations of the Coulomb potential produced by ...

Quadratic behavior of fiber Bragg grating temperature coefficients [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We describe the characterization of the temperature and strain responses of fiber Bragg grating sensors by use of an interferometric interrogation technique to provide an absolute measurement of the grating wavelength. The fiber Bragg grating temperature

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Features of liver damage in patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with pneumonia in relation to indicators of inflammation taking into account oxygen dependence

open access: yesPatologìâ
Aim. The purpose of the work is to analyze the biochemical indicators of liver function in relation to indicators of inflammation in patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with pneumonia, taking into account the development of oxygen dependence.
