Validation and Analysis on Numerical Response of Super‐High‐Speed Railway Pantograph‐Catenary Interaction Based on Experimental Test

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
The numerical tools can be used to facilitate the design of the railway pantograph‐catenary system. The validation of the current numerical results is mostly performed at a speed slower than 350 km/h. This paper aims at the validation and analysis of the numerical results at a super‐high‐speed.

Application of discrete shape function in absolute nodal coordinate formulation

open access: yesMathematical Biosciences and Engineering, 2021
To solve integrals in the absolute nodal coordinate method and address the difficulty in applying it to an arbitrary-section beam, this paper focuses on two methods involving single integrals:the invariant matrix method and the Gerstmayr method, with ...

Reduction of degrees of Freedom in three-dimensional ANCF beam of 24-DOF beam element by component mode synthesis

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2014
This paper describes how to reduce degrees of freedom for the absolute nodal coordinate formulation (ANCF) of three-dimensional beam made up of 24 degrees of freedom beam elements by applying the component mode synthesis. The stiffness matrix of the ANCF

A Multi-Leveled Coordinate for Multibody Mechanics

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
For a proper way of modelling and simulation, as well as the precise and completeness, and a new multi-level method named homogeneous tensor coordinate(HTC) was developed by improving the absolute nodal coordinate formulation(ANCF) and the homogeneous ...

Geometrically exact Cosserat rods with Kelvin–Voigt type viscous damping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present the derivation of a simple viscous damping model of Kelvin–Voigt type for geometrically exact Cosserat rods from three-dimensional continuum theory. Assuming moderate curvature of the rod in its reference configuration, strains remaining

Dynamic and sliding mode control of space netted pocket system capturing and attitude maneuver non-cooperative target [PDF]

open access: yesMechanical Sciences, 2022
Similar to a space flying net, the capture field of the space netted pocket system is large and it can be applied to capture space non-cooperative targets flexibly.
