Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Improved Harmony Search Algorithm with Chaos for Absolute Value Equation
In this paper, an improved harmony search with chaos (HSCH) is presented for solving NP-hard absolute value equation (AVE) Ax - |x| = b, where A is an arbitrary square matrix whose singular values exceed one. The simulation results in solving some given

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Inexact Newton-type method for solving large-scale absolute value equation $Ax-|x| = b$
summary:Newton-type methods have been successfully applied to solve the absolute value equation $Ax-|x| = b$ (denoted by AVE). This class of methods usually solves a system of linear equations exactly in each iteration.

On the Alternative SOR-like Iteration Method for Solving Absolute Value Equations
In this paper, by equivalently reformulating the absolute value equation (AVE) into an alternative two-by-two block nonlinear equation, we put forward an alternative SOR-like (ASOR-like) iteration method to solve the AVE. The convergence of the ASOR-like

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
