A New Finite-Difference Method for Nonlinear Absolute Value Equations
In this paper, we propose a new finite-difference method for nonconvex absolute value equations. The nonsmooth unconstrained optimization problem equivalent to the absolute value equations is considered.

General Six-Step Discrete-Time Zhang Neural Network for Time-Varying Tensor Absolute Value Equations
This article presents a general six-step discrete-time Zhang neural network (ZNN) for time-varying tensor absolute value equations. Firstly, based on the Taylor expansion theory, we derive a general Zhang et al.

An Accelerating Universe without Lambda: Delta~Gravity Using Monte Carlo
A gravitational field model based on two symmetric tensors, $g_{\mu \nu}$ and $\tilde{g}_{\mu \nu}$, is studied, using a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis with the most updated catalog of SN-Ia.

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Oscillations and instabilities of fast and differentially rotating relativistic stars
We study non-axisymmetric oscillations of rapidly and differentially rotating relativistic stars in the Cowling approximation. Our equilibrium models are sequences of relativistic polytropes, where the differential rotation is described by the ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.
