The Microwave Absorbing Phenomena Of Ferrite Microwave Absorber

[1993] Digests of International Magnetics Conference, 1993
The complex permeability dispersions and the microwave absorbing phenomena are investigated in ferrite microwave absorbers. The complex permeability of hexagonal (Y- and Z-type) and spinel (NiZn ferrite and NiZnCo ferrite) ferrite microwave absorbers were measured in 200 MHz-16 GHz range.

Average absorbed dose in thin absorbers

Physics in Medicine & Biology, 1974
It is pointed out that an expression for the average absorbed dose for a monoenergetic beam, given in the ICRU report 17 (1970) is not formally correct. The error arises from assuming that partial attenuation coefficients can be treated in the same way as total attenuation coefficients.

Extending the absorbance bandwidth of metamaterial absorber

Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, 2012
In this paper, we present the design of a polarization insensitive metamaterial absorber (MMA) whose performance is maintained over a wide frequency range. The basic unit cell of a MMA consists of an electric electric-LC resonator and a square loop structure.

Absorbing Team Games

Games and Economic Behavior, 2000
The paper demonstrates the existence of a uniform equilibrium payoff in absorbing team games, supported by relatively simple strategy profiles. Absorbing games are stochastic games where all states but one are absorbing: a stage game is played repeatedly, but for each action profile there is a chance that the process is absorbed into a state where all ...
