The absorption spectra of triiodides [PDF]
Abstract The absorption spectra of the triiodides are of particular interest in view of the striking fact, to which attention was directed ten years ago by Professor Lowry, that the same twin maxima of intensity occur at about 3500 A. and 2900 A.

Chromophoric signatures of microbial by‐products in the dark ocean
Detailed examination of the absorption spectra from dark ocean samples allowed us to identify and deconvolve two distinct chromophores centered at 302 nm (UV) and 415 nm (visible) from the exponential decay curve characteristic of humic substances.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Absorption and Raman spectra of Se-8-ring clusters in zeolite 5A
Samples with different weight ratio of Se to zeolite 5A (Se composition) have been prepared by loading Se into the cages of zeolite 5A and the measurements of the absorption and Raman spectra have been carried out for the prepared samples.
