Kubo-greenwood Formula For The Exponential Absorption Region Of Amorphous Semiconductors And Distribution Of The Density Of Electronic States In The Tail Of The Conduction Band

open access: yesJournal of Applied Science and Engineering, 2023
The region of exponential absorption of the spectra of amorphous semiconductors is theoretically investigated using the Davis-Mott approximation method from the Kubo-Greenwood formula.

Effect of doping on the optical properties of lanthanum-gallium tantalate [PDF]

open access: yesModern Electronic Materials, 2023
Nominally pure lanthanum-gallium tantalate La3Ga5.5Ta0.5O14 crystals doped with aluminum, silicon and gallium oxide to above stoichiometric content have been grown by the Czochralski technique in iridium crucibles in argon and in agron with addition of ...

Laser-produced continua for absorption spectroscopy in the VUV and XUV [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
Recent work has shown that with appropriate targets, laser-produced plasmas provide clean essentially linefree continua suitable for absorption spectroscopy from 40 to 2000 Å.

Optical absorption spectra of bipolarons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2001
The absorption of large bipolarons is investigated using the path-integral method. The response of a bipolaron to an external electromagnetic field is derived in the framework of the memory-function approach. The bipolaron optical absorption spectrum consists of a series of relatively narrow peaks.

Identification of melamine in milk using mid-infrared spectrometry [PDF]

open access: yesBIO Web of Conferences
The paper presents a study of the infrared spectra of milk with melamine in the middle spectral range. The presence of absorption bands in the infrared spectra of a standard sample of melamine, milk without it and with its addition in different ...

CHEMICALLY MODIFIED PHOTOSYNTHETIC BACTERIAL REACTION CENTERS: CIRCULAR DICHROISM, RAMAN RESONANCE, LOW TEMPERATURE ABSORPTION, FLUORESCENCE AND ODMR SPECTRA AND POLYPEPTIDE COMPOSITION OF BOROHYDRIDE TREATED REACTION CENTERS FROM Rhodobacter sphaeroides R26 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Reaction centers from Rhodobacter sphaeroides have been modified by treatment with sodium borohydride similar to the original procedure [Ditson et al., Biochim. Biophys. Acta 766, 623 (1984)], and investigated spectroscopically and by gel electrophoresis.

QM/MM Benchmarking of Cyanobacteriochrome Slr1393g3 Absorption Spectra

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Cyanobacteriochromes are compact and spectrally diverse photoreceptor proteins that are promising candidates for biotechnological applications. Computational studies can contribute to an understanding at a molecular level of their wide spectral tuning ...

Electronic spectroscopy of cold ions in a radio-frequency trap [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The low density of ions in mass spectrometers generally precludes direct absorption measurements. The spectrum of ions can nonetheless be obtained by using resonance two-color photofragmentation or multiphoton photofragmentation techniques.

Analysis of Spectral Characteristics of Certain Polyene Antibiotics in the Presence of Dmso and Cholesterol

open access: yesАнтибиотики и Химиотерапия
This work presents ultraviolet (UV) spectra of various concentrations of polyene antibiotics. The spectra of Levorin and Amphotericin B differ in three main absorption maxima.
