Danish Airs and Grounds: A Dataset for Aerial-to-Street-Level Place Recognition and Localization [PDF]
Place recognition and visual localization are particularly challenging in wide baseline configurations. In this paper, we contribute with the \emph{Danish Airs and Grounds} (DAG) dataset, a large collection of street-level and aerial images targeting such cases. Its main challenge lies in the extreme viewing-angle difference between query and reference

Young readers as detectives: a research proposal for democratic reading practices [PDF]
This paper wants to answer two questions: which types of detectives are children in silent books (s.b.)? Which type of investigations do they carry on?

Porous 3D copper scaffold‐based interdigitated electrodes are developed via dynamic hydrogen bubble templating, enabling high‐performance Zn‐ion micro‐batteries and micro‐supercapacitors. This strategy significantly boosts charge storage performance, advancing the design of next‐generation on‐chip energy storage systems.

Nerfbusters: Removing Ghostly Artifacts from Casually Captured NeRFs [PDF]
Casually captured Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) suffer from artifacts such as floaters or flawed geometry when rendered outside the camera trajectory. Existing evaluation protocols often do not capture these effects, since they usually only assess image quality at every 8th frame of the training capture.

Queering Aby Warburg: visual culture and “emotional resistances” in Torremolinos during the sixties and the seventies. [PDF]
This paper proposes an epistemological approximation between the method of visual analysis developed by Aby Warburg in Atlas Mnemosyne, and the concept of "emotional resistances" proposed by Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick with the intention of developing ...

Graft Copolymer‐Stabilized Liquid Metal Nanoparticles for Lithium‐Ion Battery Self‐Healing Anodes
This study presents a self‐healing liquid metal anode for lithium‐ion batteries, where graft copolymer‐stabilized eutectic gallium indium (EGaIn) nanoparticles enhance stability and rate performance. The fluorinated grafted copolymer forms ionic channels, preventing EGaIn aggregation and facilitating lithium‐ion migration.

Stochastic invariance of closed sets for jump-diffusions with non-Lipschitz coefficients [PDF]
We provide necessary and sufficient first order geometric conditions for the stochastic invariance of a closed subset of R^d with respect to a jump-diffusion under weak regularity assumptions on the coefficients. Our main result extends the recent characterization proved in Abi Jaber, Bouchard and Illand (2016) to jump-diffusions.

A high throughput millifluidic encapsulation platform is engineered and standardized. The system's output allows the monitoring of cell expansion in strong dynamic conditions. High polymer crosslinking leads to higher cell proliferation and lower cell growth on microgel's surface.
