Evaluation of a De‐Escalated Post‐Operative Cochlear Implant Programming Protocol
The Laryngoscope, Volume 136, Issue 3, Page 1453-1460, March 2026.This retrospective study found that reducing post‐cochlear implant programming to four visits in the first year is feasible, with no negative impact on available speech outcomes. Among 201 patients, over half adhered to the streamlined schedule, with compliance improving over time.
